Thanks to East Lansdowne Police Department for hosting this training, we are able to reduce the cost of this training in May. Lunch is included!
Registration Fee: $125.00 for May 12th only, or $225 for both days (recommended). You may attend May 12th only, OR both days. (Attending May 13th only is not an option as this day of training builds on the previous day). You will be provided with a binder of resources and course materials. **Both Parts must be successfully completed to be eligible to be sworn in to work as an HSPO in Pennsylvania.
BECOMING A HUMANE SOCIETY POLICE OFFICER IN PENNSYLVANIA IS NOT JUST A JOB, BUT A CAREER WITH ANIMALS. THIS COURSE IS THE MANDATED BASIC TRAINING FOR ALL ASPIRING HSPO’S IN PENNSYLVANIA. ALL GRADUATES MUST BE EMPLOYED BY OR VOLUNTEER FOR A NON-PROFIT ANIMAL PROTECTION ORGANIZATION AS DEFINED IN TITLE 22 CHAPTER 37 PRIOR TO BEING AWARDED OFFICIAL CREDENTIALS AND WORKING AS AN HSPO. (STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO BE EMPLOYED BY OR VOLUNTEER FOR A NON-PROFIT AT THE TIME OF COURSE ATTENDANCE). THIS COURSE IS OPEN TO ALL.
